PINING to get to the theatre? For less than the price of a single ticket, you can download a theatrical experience for the whole family. The hitch? You’re the audience and the performers.

It’s the brainchild of Susannah Sweeney, the creative producer of children’s arts festival DreamBIG.

Mountain Goat Mountain generally takes about 45 minutes – but you can go at your own pace. It’s an opportunity to use your imagination – and make believe.

“It’s a fantastic experience for children that isn’t on screen,” Sweeney said. “Adults love it, too.”

Olivia Power went to the mountain with her children Bebe, 13 and Zapha, 6.

She said the whole family loved it, but she was pleasantly surprised at how much Bebe “adored” it.

“It is a really beautiful exADELAIDE perience, relaxing and gentle – and the message was beautiful,” Ms Power said.

Threshold Theatre performers supplied the story, voices, music and choreography, and the $12.95 cost to download goes directly back to the artists.
