Emu Park School still growing
QUEENSLAND Education minister Kate Jones officially opened a $2.8 million teaching block at Emu Park State School as part of the Government’s record infrastructure investment in State schools.
“In the Central Queensland education region, we are investing around $55 million across the 2016-17 financial year in school infrastructure projects,” Ms Jones said.
The minister was joined by Member for Keppel Brittany Luaga at Emu Park, an area which has seen extensive local community development.
Emu Park State School capacity has increased to around 640 students, with enrolments up from 300 students in 2012 to 510 students this year.
