The ex­hibitor line-up fea­tures re­new­able and clean en­ergy spe­cial­ists, man­u­fac­tur­ers and sup­pli­ers - rang­ing from evolv­ing start-up com­pa­nies to mar­ket lead­ers with decades of in­dus­try ex­pe­ri­ence. The line-up in­cludes:


Elon Musk’s brain­child, Tesla, is glob­ally renowned for en­ergy in­no­va­tion. Tesla launched the Pow­er­wall Home Bat­tery Stor­age in 2015, fol­lowed by the lat­est new and im­proved Pow­er­wall 2 and Pow­er­pack 2 sys­tem. The new sys­tem is the talk of the in­dus­try, af­ter dou­bling the stor­age ca­pac­ity of the orig­i­nal model.


An in­sti­tu­tion among elec­tri­cal goods man­u­fac­tur­ers, LG has been a stal­wart of so­lar re­search since the mid ‘80s. The LG NEON range won the In­ter­so­lar Award in Europe for in­no­va­tion in 2013, 2015 and 2016, as well as a range of other in­ter­na­tional awards.


As the Aus­tralian so­lar mar­ket turned its at­ten­tion to util­ity-size projects, Nex­tracker launched its New South Wales-based so­lar power plant, Moree So­lar Farm - the first of its kind. The US track­ing spe­cial­ist de­vel­oped a unique foun­da­tion so­lu­tion that ad­dresses the chal­leng­ing soil con­di­tions at the site.

red­back Tech­nolo­gies

Re­new­able en­ergy start-up Red­back Tech­nolo­gies is fo­cused on the ad­vance­ment of low cost so­lar so­lu­tions and smart grid man­age­ment de­vices for house­hold use. Teague col­lab­o­rated with Red­back to cre­ate the high-per­form­ing and aes­thet­i­cally pleas­ing Red­back Smart Hy­brid sys­tem.


ABB is a leader in en­ergy stor­age so­lu­tions, with more than 125 years’ ex­pe­ri­ence in power en­gi­neer­ing and 10 years’ ex­per­tise in en­ergy stor­age im­ple­men­ta­tion. This year ABB un­veiled a UNO-DM-PLUS sin­gle-phase so­lar in­verter, fea­tur­ing wire­less con­nec­tiv­ity and web-en­abled soft­ware up­dates.


The Aus­trian com­pany works in the man­u­fac­ture of weld­ing equip­ment, so­lar in­vert­ers, bat­tery charg­ers and other en­ergy de­vices. Fro­nius opened its Aus­tralian branch, based in Mel­bourne, in 2010 and its biggest Aus­tralian seller is the Fro­nius Primo series for sin­gle-phase res­i­den­tial sys­tems.

A new­comer to the Aus­tralian mar­ket with more than 28 years of in­dus­try ex­pe­ri­ence and al­most 20,000 kilo­me­tres of track­ers in­stalled. It is a lead­ing so­lar track­ing so­lu­tions and ser­vices provider for util­ity-scale projects.
