A UNIQUE and innovative technological approach has won WT Hydraulics the 2017 Kalgoorlie Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business of the Year award in the 11-20 employee category.
With more than 20 years in business, WT Hydraulics’ discovery that heavy machinery and fixed plant oil could be cleaned and reused again and again, has set it apart as a leader in the industry.
Its portable oil cleaning unit connects directly to engines, transmissions and hydraulics, using an oil driven centrifuge together with vacuum dehydration.
This process removes sub-micron sized particles of dirt and water without removing any chemically bonded additives, retaining the oil’s premium quality.
WT Hydraulics managing director Kraige Cooper said each individual at the company played a part in it receiving the award, which boosted morale.
