Following extensive analysis of original modules, Procore identified and eliminated weaknesses by modifying the design and materials.
Original units have a single end tank with a baffle and rubber gasket to separate the coolant, and over time this gasket can deteriorate, leading to bypass leaks that reduce the efficiency of the radiator.
The Procore unit has separate tanks on the AMOCS module which prohibits the problem of bypassing that can lead to overheating.
Materials used in construction have also been improved.
Tank walls and headers on the folded cores are 30 per cent thicker than original equipment ( OE) specification and centre mounts are more than 20 per cent thicker.
Deep-drawn tube-to-header contact provides 150 per cent more contact than the OE design.
Adrad’s range of Procore radiator modules has been expanded to 17 products, with two new units recently added; radiator module part #CMC3006 suits track-type tractors D9T, D10N, D10T and D10R, while part #CMC3007 suits track-type tractor D10T.
