Comfort and safety with HeliSpirit

-

WITH more than 35 years of remote experience, HeliSpirit can offer mining support, aerial geophysical surveys, low-level operations, fire suppression, emergency response operations, search and rescue, as well as passenger charter, custom itineraries and specialised flight training.

The company recently welcomed an Airbus H125, formerly known as the Eurocopter AS350 B3 Squirrel, to its existing helicopter base in Karratha, providing an extra level of comfort and safety to service the Pilbara.

Located at the bustling Karratha airport, the terminal is shared with HeliSpirit’s fixed-wing sister company Aviair.

The terminal offers maintenance facilities, multiple offices and comfortable passenger lounges – all of which provide an excellent logistical staging for any operation in the Pilbara.

HeliSpirit is the leading provider of helicopter services in Australia’s north-west, with 11 bases spread across some of the most remote regions of the north, offering services across the utility, charter and tourism sectors.

The company operates 25 aircraft across the Kimberley, Pilbara and NT regions, with the fleet comprising of AS350 B3 Squirrel, Bell LongRanger, Bell JetRanger, Robinson 66, Robinson 44 and Robinson 22 helicopters.

All HeliSpirit machines offer air-conditioned comfort for guests, and the AS350 B3 Squirrel is equipped with full authority digital engine control (FADEC) systems, vehicle and engine multifunction display ( VEMD) pilot interface and a superior range of 350 nautical miles – with offshore capabilities available.

These improved technology systems along with increased engine and transmission capability significantly raises the bar in terms of overall safety and

integrity of operations.

All pilots undergo extensive training and checking to ensure that HeliSpirit operates to the highest standard of compliance, safety and professionalism.
