Injection Moulding
TRADING for more than 75 years, combined companies HASMOT and Gilford Plastics have the knowledge and experience to offer injection moulding, original equipment manufacture and component supply for the resources sector.
Gilford Plastics specialises in injection moulding with a complete in-house design facility offering the complete project solution, from concept to completion with 3D drawing, rapid prototyping through to tool manufacture and moulded product.
Gilford is a manufacturer’s agent for 3D printing machines and consumables, and can custom- print any design, or make the design and print to a customer’s needs, up to a massive build size of 600x600x600mm.
Gilford process a wide selection of thermoplastic engineering materials such as ABS, nylons, polycarbonate, polysulfone, acetal and acrylics as well as stock products such as polypropylenes.
The company also processes thermoset materials such as Bakelite, SMC and DMC in its compression moulding facility, and offers both injection and compression moulding processes with machine capability to produce parts ranging from one gram to 3500g.
The other half of the group, HASMOT, manufactures and sources many of its own products suitable for the mining industry, including truck and universal mirrors, vehicle camera and monitor systems, mining grade safety beacons (IP69K & shockproof) and LED work-lights, as well as injection-moulded brackets for the mining industry. We are also seeking distributors and resellers.
