Anglo American coal partnership
With a long and extensive history of providing safe and reliable supply chain solutions to customers operating in the mining industry, Centurion partnered with Anglo American Coal in mid-2018, providing general transport services for all five of its coal mines throughout the Bowen Basin.
Centurion operates major freight consolidation facilities in Emerald, Brisbane, Mackay and Rockhampton along with direct linehaul services to Anglo American sites.
Centurion runs daily services out of the consolidation hubs and provide the backbone for the Anglo American supply chain.
The addition of mobile cranes ranging from 25t – 230t at the Emerald location sees a significant leap forward in capacity and efficiency.
Centurion is able to offer a very well-developed mining support solution which has safety at the core and provides visibility tools tailored to client requirements that enable logistics management to be performed in a controlled manner throughout the entire process.
