Restructure strengthens Titan
LEADING tyre and wheel specialist Titan Australia has recently restructured its operations in Australia, resulting in changes to certain aspects of the business focused on aligning the company’s core strengths to meet the needs of their customers across Australia.
Titan Australia has transferred all operations in NSW to its Muswellbrook facility in the Hunter Valley, where its off-the-road wheel and tyre management services provide support to a wide range of customers in the region.
This move is designed to bring Titan closer to its customers, reduce turnaround times, and to streamline the supply chain and logistics.
In the Northwest and Goldfields regions of WA, Titan Australia will no longer maintain a physical presence in Kalgoorlie, Karratha or Port Hedland.
A Titan spokesman said that while doors were closed at these branches with a heavy heart, these locations had evolved as mainly retail outlets, which is not core business for Titan Australia.
Titan reinforces to customers in the Northwest and Goldfields that it remains heavily invested in servicing these areas with a dedicated customer management team, supported by a state-of-the-art warehousing and logistics distribution hub in Perth, and a nominated third party tyre-fitting provider.
ITM Mining Pty Ltd (ITM Mining) has been established as a separate legal entity to fully exploit the growth opportunities in the Australian market for ITM undercarriage products and services.
From a day-to-day perspective, it will be business as usual, with current services continuing to be provided from existing Titan Australia facilities.
The changes strengthen Titan Australia’s core business, allowing it to focus on its main manufacturing and service hubs in Mildura, Brisbane, Emerald, Newcastle and Perth.
