A design service named Project Blue aims to improve the wellness and sense of place for the mining workforce by creating and delivering considered, inspiring, positive interior and exterior mine site spaces.

ProjX provided the complete project and construction management team, carrying out detailed execution phase engineering and design, as well as managing the project commissioning efforts.
“Notably, the Boonanarring project was an empty paddock when we took it on, and seven months later, we were commissioning a complex mining and processing facility.” ProjX director Clint Macri said.
“We are still closely involved with Image Resources and the Boonanarring site, with several design and execute projects currently underway.”
Mr Macri said the company’s extensive experience in mineral sands has resulted in numerous successful projects for key mineral sands players like Iluka Resources, VRX Silica, MZI Resources, and others.
Beyond mineral sands, the company also has extensive experience in bulk materials handling plant and infrastructure design and construction, servicing clients across multiple resource markets such as gold, salt, iron ore, nickel and coal.
“We currently work for a number of other mining and resources companies, both in exploration and operation, notably salt producers Shark Bay Resources, who we have worked with for more than 10 years with great success, and we have a number of current study and design projects underway with them,” Mr Macri said.
“We have also provided project and construction management services and resources to a number of Tier 1 contracting companies within the country with great outcomes and lasting relationships.”
