WESBAR Vanquip specialises in modifications and comprehensive fit-outs of mine site compliance vehicles to optimise personnel safety, deployment and space, as well as provide ease-of-access, customising vehicle fleets to meet specific mining site requirements.

Consultative in its approach, Wesbar designs solutions that take account of the mandatory safety requirements, compliant with five-star ANCAP ratings.

With products designed to deliver a safe, compliant and clean workplace environment, Wesbar delivers solutions focused on user safety and high level utilisation.

A mine site fit-out typically includes:

• Air-conditioning

• Battery isolators, power invertors

• Bullbars, towbars and cargo barriers

• Reversing cameras, sensors and alarms

• Heavy duty canvas seat covers and replacement seating

• Safety kits including fire extinguisher, first aid, and road triangles

• Two-way radios

• Reflectives, chokes, roll bars, spotlights

• Protective lining

• Refrigerated lunch vans and customised 4WD fleets are also supplied.

A full three-year warranty is guaranteed on all product installations, extended to five years on some manufacturer guarantees, with all necessary documentation, warranty and engineer’s report supplied.

Wesbar Vanquip also recently partnered with EROAD Australia, an in-vehicle telematics (IVMS) company which has more than 100,000 of its units installed globally, about 70,000 of those in Australasia.

EROAD’s in-vehicle telematics solution (EHUBO) collects data from the vehicle which is then transmitted via a secure cellular link and appears in a cloud-based web portal for customer access and easy reporting.

EROAD’s technology is focused heavily on driver safety and driver integrity, with health and safety at its core.

The accuracy and security required of a telematics solution originally developed for regulatory compliance, has ensured EROAD’s products and services can be relied on and why government agencies and auditors accept reports generated through the EROAD system.
