The new family of Kubota engines, models WG2503 and WG3800, share many of the same components found in the company’s heavy-duty diesel counterparts. Known for their extreme durability, the new line was designed to endure harsh environments found in oil and gas fields.

“Pushed it to the max and came away satisfied”.

“Super clean engine, easy to install. All around, it’s going to work for us”.

Compared to today’s common automotive-based designs, the Kubota engines will provide a much longer life cycle and offer many other benefits and program features for customers searching for a reliable solution in the improving oil and gas market.

“We are very happy with it. We are anxious to see them when they hit the market in quantity”.

Features include: Three fuel options – natural gas, LPG or petrol. Front gear train with heavy-duty value timing control. Premium engine valves with robust cast iron cylinder head. Engine block and components based on diesel model. State-of-the-art ignition systems. State-of-the-art fuel systems with water resistant electrical connectors. Knock sensors – detect detonation, including coil-on-plug ignition.

“Efficient engine that burns a lot less gas. That leaves the gas companies more to sell”.

“Tests have gone very well. The engines run smoothly, are reliable and the lads like working with them”.

The new WG engines all are fourcylinder, vertical inline, water-cooled configurations, and are naturallyaspirated, with displacements of 2.49L for the WG2503, and 3.76L for the WG3800.

Net continuous outputs on natural gas/ commercial LPG for the WG2503 has outputs of 43.3hp/47.3hp at 2700 rpm for the WG2503, while the WG3800 has outputs of 65.8hp/70.8hp at 2600 rpm. Kubota’s warranty covers the WG2503 and WG3800 for two years or 2000 hours on all wellhead applications.

Kubota also offer industrial diesel engine power packs and come fully assembled, complete with radiator, air cleaner, muffler, fuel filter, engine feet, so when you receive it there is no assembly required.

The power packs components have been designed to withstand Australia’s harsh conditions, so you know your Kubota will be up to any task.

Kubota industrial diesel power packs are available in six preassembled models and all engine assemblies are idea for pump engine power units, hydraulic power packs or any application where a full engine unit is required.
