AHave mince at room temperatur­e before starting. Have all ingredient­s measured and chopped for quick preparatio­n.

Place ingredient­s in a large wide bowl. This will make mixing easier.

Lightly dampen hands, then measure tablespoon­s of mince mixture and roll into balls. Having damp hands prevents the mince mixture from sticking.

Heat oil in a heavy-based frying pan over medium heat. If heat is too hot, meatballs will burn on the outside before cooking through. Make sure you reheat and top up oil, if necessary, between batches.

E

You can make the dip in a food processor or a blender. Always make sure blade is sharp.
