AHave mince at room temperature before starting. Have all ingredients measured and chopped for quick preparation.

Place ingredients in a large wide bowl. This will make mixing easier.

Lightly dampen hands, then measure tablespoons of mince mixture and roll into balls. Having damp hands prevents the mince mixture from sticking.

Heat oil in a heavy-based frying pan over medium heat. If heat is too hot, meatballs will burn on the outside before cooking through. Make sure you reheat and top up oil, if necessary, between batches.

You can make the dip in a food processor or a blender. Always make sure blade is sharp.
