THE NICE GUYS

It’s 1977 in LA, the clothes are gaudy, the sideburns are thick and someone’s daughter is running from the Mob. Her mum (Kim Basinger) hires thug enforcer Jackson (Russell Crowe) and bumbling detective Holland (Ryan Gosling, above with Crowe) to rescue her. The mayhem that ensues is hilarious. Opens May 26.
