Let horses run free

I read with horror about our beautiful highland ponies ( The Battle To Save Snowy’s Brumbies, AWW July). I am a horse and animal lover, and I find it ludicrous to think of killing and leaving to rot over 5000 beautiful brumbies who would make great riding ponies. They do not damage the highlands because they eat introduced grasses, not native plants. The big problem is the kangaroos. They need culling or we will soon have them taking over our own garden. Please leave our beautiful brumbies to the people of the High Country.
