If you like a drink, but are worried about what it’s doing to your health, regular exercise may offset some of the harmful effects of the alcohol. New research from the University of Sydney has found that even basic recommende­d physical activity levels (at least 150 minutes per week of moderate intensity exercise, such as brisk walking) can lower the risks for alcohol drinkers of dying both from cancer and other causes.
