ART FOR A GOODES CAUSE
AFL great and Australian of the Year 2014 Adam Goodes has been immortalised in paint by artist Megan Adams (right). Megan was planning to approach Adam to sit for a portrait for the Archibald Prize when she bumped into him on the streets of Darwin. The result, a vibrant piece called Colour Doesn’t Matter, will be sold on Megan’s website, meganadamsfineart.com, for $5000, with the proceeds being donated to the GO Foundation, which Adam co-founded to support Indigenous youth through education.
