SINS OF THE MOTHER
A MOTHER JAILED over the deaths of her four children will have her case re-examined by the NSW government, following a long-running campaign by supporters who believe she is innocent. Kathleen Folbigg (in the brown shirt, above right) was jailed for a minimum of 25 years after being found guilty of three counts of murder and one of manslaughter in 2005. Another convicted baby killer, Keli Lane (above, left), has taken her cause to the media. Keli wrote to investigative journalist Caro Meldrum-Hanna from prison saying she was wrongfully jailed. “It’s crucial the public hear and see the errors police made,” she wrote. “I need to prove I did not harm her.” Caro’s investigation into the case will run on the ABC as a three-part series starting on September 25.
