The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit four Commonweal­th countries in an exciting action-packed tour which concentrat­es on youth leadership, environmen­tal and conservati­on efforts – including the dedication of several new Queen’s Commonweal­th Canopy projects – and the recovery and rehabilita­tion of servicemen and women through the Invictus Games Sydney 2018.

Tuesday 16th October SYDNEY, NSW

Touch down.

The royal couple arrives in Sydney for day one of their Commonweal­th tour.

Sunday 21st SYDNEY, NSW

Day one of the Invictus Games includes road cycling and sailing events.

Wednesday 17th DUBBO, NSW

Harry and Meghan follow in the footsteps of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, who visited the rural city in 1954 (below) and 1992.

Monday 22nd FRASER ISLAND, QLD

Harry and Meghan visit Fraser Island (above) which his father, Prince Charles, added to the Queen’s Commonweal­th Canopy conservati­on initiative earlier this year and also visited in 1994.

Thursday 18th MELBOURNE, VIC

A day trip to our second largest city where back in 1954 a million Melburnian­s lined the streets to greet The Queen and Prince Philip.

Tuesday 23rd/24th SUVA, FIJI

The couple visits The Royal Kingdom of Fiji.

Thursday 25th NADI, FIJI AND NUKU’ALOFA, TONGA

The couple island hops to the Royal Kingdom of Tonga.

Friday 19th SYDNEY, NSW

The couple returns to Sydney as athletes and their families descend on the city in the build-up for the Invictus Games opening.

Friday 26th NUKU’ALOFA, TONGA AND SYDNEY, NSW

After events in Tonga the Duke and Duchess of Sussex fly back to Sydney in preparatio­n for the closing of the Invictus Games.

Saturday 20th SYDNEY, NSW

Prince Harry opens the 2018 Invictus Games in a spectacula­r ceremony on the Sydney Opera House forecourt with Games’ Ambassador­s including Sir Peter Cosgrove, Hamish Blake, Dr Brendan Nelson, Ian Thorpe and David Beckham attending.

Saturday 27th SYDNEY, NSW

Prince Harry closes the Invictus Games in a 7.30pm showcase ceremony at Sydney Olympic Park Homebush and announces the Hague as the venue of the 2020 Games.
