The Duchess started the tour supporting Aussie fashion in a chic Karen Gee dress with a Martin Grant trench coat. It was the first of many nods to our designers over the coming days. At Taronga Zoo 10-month-old koala joeys snoozed through their royal encounter, while at their first public walkabout at the Opera House the crowds screamed “we love you”. Later, at a reception, Prince Harry said: “We genuinely couldn’t think of a better place to announce the upcoming baby, whether it’s a boy or a girl, thank you very, very much.”
