Jingle balls

Have a ball (or two) whipping up these wickedly good chocolate trufles – package up as sweet little gifts or store in the fridge for whenever guests drop in.

MAKES ABOUT 80 PREP AND COOK TIME

1 HOUR (+ REFRIGERAT­ION TIME) 395g can NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk

500g NESTLÉ PLAISTOWE dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped finely

3 x 290g packets NESTLÉ chocolate melts (white, milk and dark), melted in separate bowls melted chocolate, red and green sugar pearls, for decorating

Combine condensed milk and dark chocolate in a large microwave-safe bowl. Cook on HIGH (100%) power for 3 minutes, stirring twice during cooking until melted; stir until smooth. Refrigerat­e, covered, for about 2 hours or until firm enough to roll.

Shape 1 teaspoon of chocolate mixture into balls; place on trays lined with baking paper. Refrigerat­e for 1 hour.

Dip truffles, one at a time, into melted chocolate; stand on trays until set. Decorate as desired.
