Jin­gle balls

Have a ball (or two) whip­ping up th­ese wickedly good choco­late tru­fles – pack­age up as sweet lit­tle gifts or store in the fridge for when­ever guests drop in.

MAKES ABOUT 80 PREP AND COOK TIME

1 HOUR (+ REFRIGERATION TIME) 395g can NESTLÉ Sweet­ened Con­densed Milk

500g NESTLÉ PLAISTOWE dark choco­late (70% co­coa), chopped finely

3 x 290g pack­ets NESTLÉ choco­late melts (white, milk and dark), melted in sep­a­rate bowls melted choco­late, red and green su­gar pearls, for dec­o­rat­ing

Com­bine con­densed milk and dark choco­late in a large mi­crowave-safe bowl. Cook on HIGH (100%) power for 3 min­utes, stir­ring twice dur­ing cook­ing un­til melted; stir un­til smooth. Re­frig­er­ate, cov­ered, for about 2 hours or un­til firm enough to roll.

Shape 1 tea­spoon of choco­late mix­ture into balls; place on trays lined with bak­ing pa­per. Re­frig­er­ate for 1 hour.

Dip truf­fles, one at a time, into melted choco­late; stand on trays un­til set. Dec­o­rate as de­sired.
