Preparing for the challenge

1 GET CHECKED

Check with your doctor before making any changes to your diet or lifestyle. You may need to keep an eye on certain medication­s.

2 PREP YOUR PANTRY

Plan what you’re going to eat for the next seven days. Remove temptation­s and load your fridge/pantry with hormone helpers.

3 CULL THE CAFFEINE

If you’re drinking three or more caffeinate­d drinks daily, start cutting down a day earlier to make the challenge easier on the body.

4 SET THE SCENE

Remove any electronic­s from your bedroom; ensure you have a comfortabl­e pillow, good air flow and a dark room conducive to good sleep.

5 GO GLASS

Purchase a range of glass or stainless steel food containers, a water bottle and/or travel mug to kick-start your plastic-free living.
