Mitzi Westang

Mitzi embodies a resilience and quiet fortitude that comes from a life born and lived on the land. She grew up in the Gundagai region of NSW, where she and her husband Phillip now have their cattle and horse property. A passion for horses brought them together, and is still one of the things Mitzi loves most about being a farmer. “Riding a horse for five hours, with just the dogs and cattle, and not having to talk to anyone. The quietness of that, it’s peaceful. It’s freedom,” she says.
