To make your salad Instragram-worthy, try making an avocado rose. Cut a firm but ripe avocado in half, remove the seed and then peel. Thinly slice one half at a time and fan into a long line, then curl slices to make a rose shape. Start at one end and curl towards the centre. Squeeze over some lime or lemon juice to prevent browning.
