THE WORLD HAS responded to the lockdown with colour and creativity. Teachers from NSW’s Hunter Valley region dressed in tutus to deliver work packs to their students. Floraville Public School Principal Simon Mulready said they wanted to support their students during these uncertain times. “Kids pick up on the anxiety of their parents and worry about things as well,” Simon said.“They really wanted to lift the spirits of the kids.” Chalk rainbows have been providing a symbol of hope in neighbourh­oods all over Australia, while in the US, student Ashley Lawrence developed a mask specially for the deaf.
