A symbol of hope after the flames

Some very rare pink flannel flowers are blooming in NSW’s Blue Mountains in a sign the land is recovering after the 2020 blazes. The flowers’ seeds can lie dormant for years waiting for the magic combination of fire, followed by rain in order to bloom.
