Attention, coffee lovers! We have good news: Researchers have discovered that drinking one or more cups of caffeinated coffee is associated with decreased heart failure risk. Which is not to say you should start drinking more: “There is not yet enough clear evidence to recommend increasing coffee consumption to decrease risk of heart disease with the same strength and certainty as stopping smoking, losing weight or exercising,” says Dr David P. Kao, from the University of Colorado, a senior author of the study.
