Attention, coffee lovers! We have good news: Researcher­s have discovered that drinking one or more cups of caffeinate­d coffee is associated with decreased heart failure risk. Which is not to say you should start drinking more: “There is not yet enough clear evidence to recommend increasing coffee consumptio­n to decrease risk of heart disease with the same strength and certainty as stopping smoking, losing weight or exercising,” says Dr David P. Kao, from the University of Colorado, a senior author of the study.
