The world has had its first glimpse of the new Diana as statuesque Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki steps into the role of The People’s Princess for season 5 of

The Crown. Elizabeth will play Diana opposite Dominic West as Prince Charles through the early 1990s. When she was cast, The Great Gatsby actress said, “Princess Diana’s spirit, her words and her actions live on in the hearts of so many”. Filming of the latest series began in the UK last month.

Diana Elizabeth Debicki will portray Diana after her estrangement from husband Prince Charles.

Charles & The Queen Joining the cast in season 5 is Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II. Oscar-nominated Imelda has been a fan of the series since it started and said it was an honour to join the show.
