Practical ways to help family and friends after a stillbirth or neonatal loss.

• Help inform family, friends and colleagues

• Learn more about stillbirth

• Help create memories of their baby (photos, videos, plush toys, painted hand or footprints)

• Help around the house (cleaning, laundry, shopping, cooking, gardening, run errands, pay bills)

• Help with other children (childcare or school pick-up/ drop-off, prepare lunches, supervise homework)

• Help with the funeral (liaise with funeral director, organise flowers, complete paperwork, pay bills)

• Keep calling, texting or sending a card to mark birthdays or special events, so the parents know their baby is not forgotten

• Donate or raise money for research, organise or attend fundraisin­g events
