Next level roast chicken
The secret ingredient in this Spanish-style roast chicken is Kikkoman Soy Sauce used in place of salt. It adds a delicious savouriness and helps brown the chicken beautifully. Combine 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 3 cloves crushed garlic, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano leaves, 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil and 1 tablespoon Kikkoman Soy Sauce in a small bowl. Place a 1.5kg flattened butterflied chicken (backbone removed) in a baking paper-lined oven tray; smear marinade all over the chicken.
Roast at 180°C fan-forced for about 50 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Cut into pieces and serve with chilli sauce and micro coriander. kikkoman.com.au
