Health professionals did an excellent job
ON Monday last, I blacked out while working in our garden. In response to my wife’s cry for help, our new neighbour, Paul, rang the ambulance and within minutes Belinda and Darren had me on my way to Cairns Hospital. Admission was swift and I was soon being treated by Dr Richard Smith and his team of Sally, May, Kate and others whose names I cannot recall.
My experience was a total contradiction of other horror stories. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of those fine folk who work so effectively every day under trying conditions.
