Delivering the best education for more than 30 years

-

ESTABLISHED in 1983, Trinity Anglican School, or TAS, is a modern co-educational school that provides an engaging, safe and disciplined academic learning environment and has developed a reputation as the region’s leading school.

The school’s White Rock campus caters for students from Kindergarten through to Year 12 and TAS at Kewarra Beach serves students from Kindergarten to Year 6. From an initial enrolment of 67 students, the school has now grown to provide an excellent education to more than 900 students across the two campuses.

Through the years, TAS has built an enviable reputation for academic excellence, service to the community and leadership in science, the arts and sport.

TAS students learn in an innovative, nurturing and inclusive working environment and consistently achieve outstanding results, regularly gaining admittance to courses of choice at leading universities and excelling in a variety of academic competitions.

A wide range of student interests and abilities are catered for and numerous off-campus activities take full advantage of the tropical location and surrounds. TAS is a member of Round Square and its network of outstanding schools in 40 countries across five continents. In an increasingly globalised world, the skills developed by TAS graduates help them stand out from the crowd and the Round Square “IDEALS” – Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, Service – provide a solid foundation for a varied, exciting and successful future in a challenging and high-tech world.

TAS prides itself on the commitment and professionalism of its staff members whose dedication to the children of TAS is outstanding. They are integral to an environment where a respect for learning and for individuals is paramount.

“Our ethos is based on high academic standards and the values of understanding, respect for others and compassion, safety and dignity for all children,” principal Christopher Daunt Watney says.

A new science building at TAS is testament to the quality of education that students receive, with new laboratories and classrooms built into an architecturally impressive building that highlights the school’s dedication to nurturing the talent of its students.
