THANK you Mr Hirotsugu Ikeda (16/5) for the splendid job you have done in removing so much plastic from along the Cairns Esplanade.
For the past two years, during your term as the Japanese Consul to Cairns, we have seen you there, picking up rubbish along the beach.
Who will do this job now that you are leaving Cairns?
Perhaps we should all promise to continue your work to help save the Great Barrier Reef, and all marine animals.
