2018 National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence
This year, for the NDA, schools are invited to share their BIG IDEAS for a world free from bullying within their communities. IMAGINE materials, including posters with real quotes, Make Your Own (MYO) poster, speech bubbles activities and postcards are available online as free downloads. Resources: With the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) so close, it’s inspiring that more than 850 Queensland schools (2500 schools across Australia) will be standing united on Friday, March 16 and calling for a future where bullying has no place. The NDA is Australia’s key anti-bullying event for schools and a day of action for communities. Did you know that more than one million Australian school students will be participating in local events and activities? What’s your school doing? Just in Queensland, there are more than 425,000 students participating from more than 850 schools. As part of the NDA this year, young people are being called to imagine a world free from bullying and share their BIG IDEAS. This is to spark a conversation, drive awareness and hear the great ideas young people have in finding solutions to bullying. The NDA is a positive day that provides a focus for schools to talk about the importance of standing together and saying ‘Bullying. No Way!’ in their communities. Join together on Friday March 16 with your school community, and let’s say ‘Bullying. No Way!’ to help ignite a conversation about bullying.
