Trevenen was on course at Cairns Golf Club for the Sunday Stableford competition last weekend with David Lane, Milos Stillman and Adam Murphy.

“I have just come back to the club actually in December of last year,” Trevenen said.

“I have really enjoyed getting back into playing regularly after a five-year break or so from the game.

“The last few years I have been spending with the family but it is nice to get back out there playing again.

“I was a bit rusty (laughs) but I am sure in a few more months’ time I will be back in the swing of it.”

The Woree-based club is building towards the 2018 Schweppes Cairns Open, which will be run across the first weekend of next month.
