I usually go down to Melbourne or Tasmania. I go because of the weather. When it gets wet up here I go down there, I just follow the weather. It’s a great way to live. I had a yacht way back in Portsmith but that sunk, so now I stay in my motorhome. At the moment I’m staying with a mate in Whitfield, it’s really convenient. I’m a mad punter, so when I’m here I love going to a race. If I’m around I’ll go to whatever is on. I don’t have a favourite race, but anything’s good as long as I back a winner. When I’m up here I like to spend some time in Cooktown and Charters Towers.
