IT WAS A REALLY POOR GAME OF FOOTY TO WATCH. PEOPLE SHOULD GET THEIR MONEY BACK CRAIG INGEBRIGTSEN

ANOTHER chapter has been added to a simmering feud between Ty Williams and Craig Ingebrigtsen after the visiting coach launched a scathing attack on both teams after his side’s four-point loss to the Northern Pride.

The Falcons coach took a potshot at the Pride claiming a better team would have towelled them up.

“I thought it was a disgraceful game of footy and I thought we were both poor teams, so we both sort of gave as much opportunity as each other, but the score probably flattered us a little bit.

“I thought when we started completing we were OK, but we just gave up too much ball and a really good side would have put us away.

“It was a really poor game of footy to watch. People should get their money back.”

The tensions between the two coaches are well known, but Ingebrigtsen did sympathise with his counterpart, who has similarly struggled managing NRL allocations in recent weeks.

Both teams have shares of youth from the Storm and Cowboys respectively, but the Falcons returns are in more key positions.

Williams scoffed at his rivals opinion on the match.

“His team didn’t put us away so he wasn’t good enough, pretty simple,” Williams said.
