TOP TIPS FOR HAVING A REFRESHING NIGHT IN THE LAND OF NOD

-

DRINK CHOICES MATTER

Making positive food and drink choices are essential to having a good night of clean sleep.

Ms Fingleson recommends minimising stimulants in your diet, including caffeine, alcohol and refined sugars.

She also recommends making water your main source of hydration.

LOCK STRESS AWAY

Making sure to not stress after having a night of light sleep is key to making clean sleeping work for you on a longterm basis.

“Not everyone can practise clean sleeping every night. Aim to achieve it around 75 per cent of the time,” Ms Fingleson recommends.

“You’ll know when you’re getting your body’s optimum amount of sleep when you get into a rhythm where you go to sleep and wake naturally.”

TIDY BEDROOMS KEY

“Make your bedroom your peaceful sanctuary with calm neutral colouring, comfortable, no electronics, low-toxin bedding and low lighting,” Ms Fingleson advises. “Tidy it and put away clutter before bed.”

SCHEDULE YOUR SLEEP

Sticking to a plan when it comes to bed time is crucial to making clean sleeping work. Go to bed and get up at the same time every day, and try to eat breakfast within the first 30 minutes of being awake.
