I’ve lived here pretty much my whole life – 20 years. I went to school in Cairns and now work keeps me here in the area, I’m a surveyor. I’ve also got my family of up here around the region – on the Tablelands and north and south of Cairns too. So I get to go out to those places too, which is good. I like the climate here, especially this time of year. It’s warm but still a bit cool which is nice. The lifestyle here is also really good. It’s pretty relaxed and that’s what I’ve grown up with. I enjoy fishing, bush walking and just being outdoors. There’s a lot of variety up here and always somewhere new to go out and explore. There are a few decent fishing spots that I like to regularly go to. Out of the reef is a good spot that’s pretty common up here.
