The medium chance of showers and gusty storms developing west of about Normanton to Hughenden to Cunnamulla. Some storms will possibly be severe. The slight to medium chance of showers and storms developing over the northern Gulf Country and eastern tropical inland. Strong and gusty east to southeaste­rly winds persisting about the Gold Coast and possibly extending further north along the coast towards Fraser Island as a coastal trough shifts north. Hazardous surf conditions persisting about exposed beaches south of Fraser Island. A high to very high chance of showers over the far southeast, with possible isolated storms and locally heavy falls, particular­ly near the coast in the morning. The medium chance of showers extending further inland through the southeast interior and north to the Wide Bay.
