FOCUSING on independent living, New Horizons Villas is for people who no longer want to worry about the hassle of everyday tasks such as cooking, dishes, washing linen or grocery shopping.
Operating since 2002, New Horizons Villas has several residents who have been living in the community for more than a decade.
The village has a new live-in management team of Rasim and Diana Shahmuradov, as well as a qualified chef and a groundsman and handyman.
Rasim has more than five years of experience in the aged care industry in Cairns, while Diana has worked in childcare for three years.
“We find it a most enjoyable and rewarding environment to work in,” Rasim said of the community. “It is just so nice to see our residents so pleased with the ways we are able to help.
“It’s the little things that can matter the most sometimes.”
New Horizons has tailored the services to ensure that all essential needs are not only met, but are accessible at their fingertips with ease.
All meals are catered for by a qualified chef and are included in the package.
Residents can enjoy sitting in the dining room for three freshly prepared meals a day.
Takeaways are available for all meals if residents would prefer to eat in the comfort of their villa, or even to save their meal and enjoy it later at their own preferred time. Linen services are offered weekly.
Living at New Horizons Villas is designed to be affordable and accessible. The easy rental process means there are no buyin fees, no bond, no exit fees and no complicated contracts.
Residents can make use of the airconditioned community centre with free Wi-Fi, along with the indoor and outdoor dining and barbecue areas.
“We look after the upkeep of the gardens and community centre as well as repair and maintenance to the structure of your villa,” Rasim explained.
“This is a community of likeminded people, close to shops and public transport with inhouse and external activities organised for you,” Rasim said.
