Boat blaze probe

A RECREATIONAL boat that went up in flames off the coast of Cairns will be retrieved in the coming days. “All on board were safely rescued,” a Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ) spokeswoman said of the Wednesday afternoon incident. “MSQ will conduct an investigation into the cause of the fire and salvage of the vessel will be co-ordinated in coming days.”
