Horse trainer in court

THE matter of horse trainer Alwyn Ross Bailey has been adjourned to December 19. Police alleged the 61-year-old licensed thoroughbred trainer overdrove, overrode or overworked the racehorse Ranked while it was injured between October 5 and 20 this year. He first appeared in Cairns Magistrates Court on November 11 in relation to the charges.
