JUST like any athlete can benefit from physical training, they also can benefit from brain training. But Rob Gronbeck, sports psychology coach and founder of the Brain Room, said athletes aren’t the only ones who can take their performanc­e up a notch. “Profession­als can also benefit from this type of training,” Gronbeck said. “More and more corporates are coming in, seeing the work we’re doing with athletes and thinking ‘why can’t I be more focused and more composed’. But we are not just cognitive beings either — we also need to be able to bounce back from setbacks. That’s a skill that can be trained.”
