Top line up out for final races

GREYHOUND racing returns to Cannon Park tonight for the last time with six races.

There are some good races tonight with the feature finals being Races 5 and 6.

Race 5 is the Thank You Peter Kennedy & Ken 5th Grade Final over 410m.

There are several chances in this final with four first starters on the track. Rapid State (1) for Tarquin Neal ran 4th on Tuesday night behind Scott Hooked from box 8.

She has drawn better tonight and is a place chance.

Zipping Irwin (6) for Matthew McGuire (pictured) won on Tuesday night over 380m.

He will be in this for a long way and has each way claims.

Red Hot Rocket (2) for Carol Pickard has been a model of consistency at her last few outings when she raced here before.

Scott Hooked (3) for Graham Thomson loves this track and should start favourite.

Race 6 is the Thank You Lee & Jan Stokes Christmas Cup Final over 544m.

The two favourites for this final should be the Glen Olsen trained Slow Dancer (2) and Innocent Man (8).

Both these dogs have won over this distance and will be coming home strong.

Burner Bant (3) for George Tsakissiris loves this track and distance, he can get home well.

Black Shark (1) for Arthur Gosper is a former Albion Park starter and he has also won over the 515m at the Gardens.
