On Fraser Anning

-

How does Sen Fraser Anning justify spending taxpayer funds to attend racist rallies? Anning should visit his Queensland constituents before wasting our money attending neo Nazi rallies. Allowing Anning to do this is another sign of Morrison’s wasteful govt being out of touch with reality. Terry Hayton, Kanimbla Pauline Hanson sacked Senator Fraser Anning from One Nation and Bob Katter saw an opportunity and pounced, only to then find the Senator’s race relations were all too much and had to sack him. Since then as an Independent Fraser Anning has flown to Melbourne at taxpayers’ expense to attend a right-wing extremists’ rally. Says more about the people who actually vote for these wackos. Democrat, Cairns Why is it OK for politicians to attend left wing rally such as gay marriage? But if they are seen at a right-wing event, well that’s unacceptable. How about we promote free choice instead double standards. Steve B, Atherton propping up? Are you killing these groups with our tax money, Mr Entsch? Marjorie, Mooroobool There’s a lot of weather presenters and reporters (CP, 08/01) who will be very disappointed if not-a-cyclone Penny does a double fizzer. Not being battered by more-frequent more-intense zombie cyclones is bad for the whole climate alarm business. Rodger R, Redlynch Sean, (CP, 8/01), Entsch has done just as much or little for QLD as your Labor circus mates reps have done when they were in power, mainly two fifths of three parts of bugger all and current state circus carrying the tradition forwards. Bill, Mooroobool Cathy, your statement (CP, 08/01) in which you fail to provide any scientific evidence to contest Mr Campion’s claims is irrelevant, immaterial and therefore of no consequence. Robert, Earlville When companies fund reef research (CP, 08/01) they get a tax break. That transfers their share of the tax to the rest of us, who were funding reef research anyway. Therefore the taxpayer-funded portion of reef research funding can now be scaled back to avoid a net increase in the burden on taxpayers. Pterodactyl Trev, Cairns Retiree (CP, 08/01). Companies are owned by shareholders and pay tax on the shareholders’ earnings. If the company tax rate is higher than an individual shareholders’ tax rate there’s a refund of the excess tax paid. Only the ALP think it’s a gift. Miss T, Tolga The plastic bag ban (CP, 08/01) is silliness on steroids and is an incremental attack on our freedom. Oceanic plastic pollution isn’t the West’s problem, so why are we penalised for it? Because totalitarians want total control of everything and everyone. Mic, Cairns
