Man found dead

POLICE are investigating after a man was found dead in his car on the Gillies Range. Crews were called to the scene at 8.45am yesterday, where a vehicle was found about 10-12km away from Gordonvale on the range road. It is understood the man was found in his car with a knife to his chest. “We’ve located a male in his vehicle with an injury,” a police spokesman said. “He appears to be deceased.” Queensland Ambulance were also called and traffic was delayed for some time.
