Weapon and drugs found

A MAN will face court next month after he was allegedly found with a large quantity of drugs, an air rifle and ammunition in his possession.

Police executed a search warrant at an address on Chewko Rd, Mareeba on Saturday where they allegedly found the 32-year-old man in possession of cannabis, a large quantity of cannabis plants, drug utensils, cannabis seeds, prescription drugs, an air rifle and ammunition.

He is expected to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on January 29 on a string of charges.
