Strategy passed

HOPE Vale Aboriginal Shire Council has passed its Economic Development Strategy (EDS) 20182012. The new EDS framework focuses on a Community Economic Development model where communities initiate their own solutions to local problems. Incorporating six themes for economic sustainability, the strategy seeks to improve “social, quality of life and environmental conditions, building community capacity to deal with future challenges and opportunities”.
