Water restrictions

DUE to ongoing low groundwater, water restrictions are still in place within the Aurukun Shire. Those connected to the water reticulation system in the Aurukun township can only use garden sprinklers and soaker hoses during the hours of 6am and 8am on any day. Hand held hoses, watering cans, buckets or water from a rainwater tank can be used at any time.
